I was born in rural Wisconsin in 1968 and was raised 5 miles outside of a small town called Boyd. My mother is a wildlife artist and does some artwork of her own. My artistic interest began with drawng landscapes with pencil. Later when I bought my own camera, (a Canon T50), I really got into photography. I had that camera for years until it fried in a rainstorm at a Grateful Dead concert in Chicago.
Four years after I moved to Minneapolis, MN in 1989, I did not own another camera until I purchased a Kodak digital about 5 years ago. It was a cheap camera, but I had a good time with pictures. Later, I received a Canon G3 for a gift and really got into taking photos of everything that came within my sight.
Later, I received from my partner a Christmas gift that is the ultimate. I now have a Olympus E-1 Digital SLR. It is a wonderful camera. I was not too interested in doing this as anything but a hobby until recently. The more people saw my photos, the more they said I should have them displayed somewhere. So born is the Duney.com site.
Primarily I am interested in getting my photos viewed by the public and gauge the reactions I hope to receive. However, prints are now available for purchase. Price listings are on the Webstore page. Look around, hopefully you will find something you like. Comments are welcome, please. |
